Display
The 12.1-inch (30.7 cm) WXGA Widescreen View Perfect TFT display is the first thing about it that attracts attention. An Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator GMA X3100 graphics chipset with 254-MB shared video memory, DVMT 3.0 support makes for some excellent display. The 1280 x 800 pixels resolution is also perfectly adequate.

Connectivity
The HCL Leaptop Z29-Z2906 is equipped with the Intel Wireless/PRO 3945 WiFi 802.11a/b/g Wireless connection which provides superb connectivity. An Integrated 10/100/1000 Realtel RTL8100CL Fast Ethernet LAN and a 56Kbps V.92 Data/Fax Modem are also present. The Bluetooth v2.0 + EDR offers data transfer 3 times faster than normal.

Many essential software like the Microsoft Works 8.5, Nero Burner V.6 for Windows XP / Nero Burner V.7 for Vista, Leaptop Companion, , Power Director, Media Show Player, and full set of updated device drivers are present on a CDROM. The laptop also has the Antivirus software with a 12 Month validity period and free update option along with the Kensington Lock, option for System or User level system access, Built-in Biometric Fingerprint Reader etc for security purposes and option for disabling USB Port.
